Dave Loverde founded the Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center with his late wife Barbara “Missy” Runyan in 2011 as a rehabilitation center for injured or orphaned wildlife in New York State. The wildlife service also travels to multiple locations where animals are threatened with future injury and physical injury of adult animals that can be treated without capture or injury to animal. They offer educational programs that cover ages from adult to pre-k on how to peacefully co-exist with our wildlife.
